10 000 employees. As a producer, the Group is Number 1 in the global market for both stainless long steels and tool steels. In alloy and high-alloy special and engineering steels we rank among the top ten.
SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH South Africa has a staff complement of 47 employees in 4 locations. All branches stock special steel for all your requirements - mainly from our groups’ Western European and North American steel works.
Our delivery programme consists of tool steel, stainless steel, engineering steel as well as special alloys. Our customers can be found in the automotive, mechanical engineering and plant construction industry – to name just a few.
Furthermore, we are the sole agent of ThyssenKrupp VDM GmbH (Germany), one of the largest producers of special-alloys (e.g. Nickel base) in the world.
